Formed in 1999, Phoenix AISES is a professional chapter of the American Indian Science and Engineering Society (AISES) national, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are a diverse group of respected professionals within the technical and business communities and are connected through AISES as past recipients of scholarships, internships, and support the AISES’s mission to promote STEM education and careers to American Indian, Alaskan Native, or Hawaiian/ Pacific Islanders.

Chapter values include:

• Giving back to the Phoenix area and tribal communities through community service.

• Sustaining partnerships with small, medium and large businesses, tribal governments, and other nonprofits that value diversity.

• Increasing participation and interest in careers in sciences, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM).

• Promoting member success through professional development.

• Supporting the National AISES organization and mission.
